The terms and conditions governing our charter brokerage services and your use of our platform.
Last updated: January 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of British Charter's services and website. By accessing our services or submitting a charter request, you agree to be bound by these terms.
British Charter operates as a charter brokerage service, connecting clients with certified operators for private aviation, yacht charter, helicopter transport, and ground transportation services. We do not own or operate aircraft, vessels, or vehicles directly.
Our role is to arrange and coordinate charter services on behalf of our clients by working with our network of certified and vetted operators.
Charter requests submitted through our website or by phone are not confirmed bookings until we provide written confirmation and receive payment as specified in your charter agreement.
All pricing is subject to confirmation and may vary based on availability, routing, timing, and specific requirements. Prices quoted are valid for a limited time and subject to change until booking confirmation.
Payment terms will be specified in each charter agreement. Generally, deposits are required to secure bookings, with final payment due prior to departure. All payments are subject to the specific terms agreed with the operating company.
Cancellation and change policies vary by operator and service type. Specific terms will be provided in your charter agreement. Generally:
Charter services are provided by independent operators. Each operator is responsible for:

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or service issues arising from operator performance, weather conditions, air traffic control, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the brokerage fees paid to British Charter for the specific service in question.
Clients are responsible for:
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and travel arrangements. Details of your charter requirements are shared only with operators and service providers necessary to fulfill your booking. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Neither British Charter nor our operators shall be liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or other force majeure events.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
